Oboy Siki isn’t cut for the role of an old man in Movies – Actress
Beautiful Ghanaian actress, Janet Brefo Yankson known in showbiz as Sweet Mimi has fired back at Kumawood actor Oboy Siki for downplaying the capabilities of their colleague actor Lil Win, when he plays the role of an old man in movies
Renowned Kumawood Actor cum musician, Kwadwo Nkansah has over the years been admired by local movie lovers each time he plays the role of an old man in local movies.
Though most of his movies with this role have had success in the film industry, Nana Kofi Agyeman popularly known as Oboy Siki thinks otherwise.
In an interview with Hello FM when asked if Oboy Siki’s claims that Lil Win’s role as an old man in movies is not apt, Sweet Mimi indicated that Oboy Siki is rather the one not cut for such roles.
“Oboy Siki is the father for all of us, he is an elderly person, but he doesn’t carry any kind of prestige if you cast him in a movie to play the role of an old man”, she told Dave Hammer during her interview on the show “Hello Entertainment Review”.
“The only role he plays well with prestige and a lot of respect is when he acts like ‘boys boys’ just as he is called”, Mimi added.
Meanwhile, actress Mary Afriyie Forson who was also on the show indicated that, in her locality, most people prefer to watch Lil Win when he plays the role of an old man in movies than any other.
