Okraku Mantey made me poor when I was Bandana – Shatta Wale

Ghana’s Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has accused Deputy Minister for Tourism Hon. Mark Okraku Mantey as being the reason why he was poor back in the days when he was Bandana.

According to Shatta Wale the SM boss, Mark Okraku Mantey alone spent the proceeds they made from his song “Bandana From Ghana” which became a hit all over the country in the early 2000s and brought him to fame.

Speaking on Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV, Shatta Wale boldly said “It was Mark who made me a poor Bandana”.

The Gringo hit maker explained that his track “Bandana from Ghana” was produced by a Japanese national who had a contract with Mark Okraku to distribute but after everything, Mark never paid even a cedi to him.
