One’s rise should not be the other’s fall
Musician Kelvyn Boy has called on the Ghanaian music industry to birth several artistes because that’s what is required
He believes that Ghana needs more superstars and that can be done when there is support for each other in the music space.
Kelvyn Boy who is currently on a world tour said one’s rise in the music industry in Ghana should not be envied but rather supported so that others can also follow suit.
It is unclear what triggered such a stance by the artiste who has one of the biggest songs in the world presently.
He tweeted “Ghana needs more superstars, we need to flood the system with our talents!! It’s a big space everybody can win. one man’s rise shouldn’t mean another man’s fall”.
Kelvyn Boy is an artiste who broke away from the Burniton Music Group some years back after a fallout with Stonebwoy.
One cannot tell what triggered the fallout but it also led to Stonebwoy ending his working relationship with his long-time friend and manager, Black Cedi.
Ghana needs more superstars, we need to flood the system with our talents!! It’s a big space everybody can win 🥇 one man’s rise shouldn’t mean another man’s fall 📌
