Politics in Ghana is too dirty – Amakye Dede on why he’s shying away
Ghanaian Highlife musician Amakye Dede born Daniel Amakye Dede says he has no intention of getting himself into politics and will never venture.
According to him, politics is a dirty game hence a man of his character and someone who has duly paid his dues to the country through music does not need to get himself into politics before he can be recognized.
Amakye Dede thinks he has already done his part for the country through music locally and internationally.
On GHOne TV in an interview with Nana Aba Anamoah on the show Star Chat on whether or not he thinks of going into politics in the near future he responded ‘No, never’.
“I will not enter into politics. I will never. It is too dirty. I don’t like that, and I don’t want to do that. I think I have served Ghanaians well enough with music”, Amakye Dede said.
