Posters of District Assembly aspirants show their partisan affiliations
Traditional leader and veteran musician, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has shared his opinion on the partisan nature of the District Assembly elections.
The Highlife singer stated on Cape Coast-based Property FM that the colours used on the posters of District Assembly aspirants show their partisan affiliations.
He opined “Nowadays the district assembly elections have become partisan politics already judging from the colours being used by the aspirants on their posters.
“The colours used by the aspirants will let you know that the person is representing NDC or NPP and I have observed this for the past 4 to 8 years,” he revealed monitored by MyNewsGh.com
He continued “As for making the district assembly elections partisan politics or not is something which is already happening because their colours show.
“In fact, the talking of the aspirants show their partisan affiliation either they are commending the government or condemning the party in power”.
