Rihanna announces Fenty is expanding to Africa; Efia Odo ‘begs’ to be an ambassador
Celebrated musician and businesswoman Rihanna has announced that she will be expanding her business to Africa.
This is part of the expansion drive for her skincare company and she believes Africa offers a market that can be tapped into.
Making this announcement in a post shared on her social media channels Rihanna said the organization will be live in some African countries on May 27, 2022.
“i’ve been waiting for this moment!! @fentybeauty & @fentyskin are finally dropping in AFRICA!!! Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe…we comin at ya May 27th and that’s just the beginning!!!”
Ghanaian actress Efia Odo has seen an opportunity in the move by Rihanna and has started an awareness campaign to get her signed as an ambassador.
The actress has since been sharing photos of herself and tagging the organization on social media so she can be considered for an ambassadorial deal.
Efia Odo believes that she’s got what it takes to represent the Fenty brand in Ghana and take it to the next level.
