Samsney Beats details the difference between the work of a producer and a Sound Engineer
Samuel Sarpong popularly known in the music fraternity as Samsney, a beat-maker, has explained the difference between a Sounded Engineer and a Record Producer.
According to Samsney beats who is also known as Savage mix, a record producer starts production from scratch but a sound engineer works on already produced song.
He told Amansan Krakye the host “When it comes to beat making or producing that’s putting the song together and making the beats alongside recording the song.
“Sound engineer is about making sure that the sound comes out clean so you work on the sound and the work of the sound engineer is that the artiste might have worked on the song already,” he added on Kastle FM in Cape Coast monitored by MyNewsGh.com
“But the sound engineer will tune the vocals, make sure that he’ll pitch correct it and do everything like working on how the kicks should come out with the vocals sitting on the mix,” he said on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
Apart from making hits with his songs Gold Digga and Kuacha, Samsney has produced bangers for the likes of Black Sherif, Kelvyn Boy, Darkovibes among others.
