Stand-up comedy has become so lucrative
Ghanaian stand-up comedian, Lekzy DeComic born Emmanuel Nkansah Ansong has revealed the lucrative nature of their industry.
Speaking to Amansan Krakye on Property FM in Cape Coast, Lekzy DeComic said no parents will disagree with their child who wants to become a stand-up comedian.
He said “There’s been so much growth in stand-up comedy here in Ghana and now so many people are joining the career path.
“More people see the essence so now you can tell your mom that when I grow up I want to be a stand-up comedian and she’ll agree.
“Because some of our predecessors have been able to contribute a lot to the industry so now no parents would refuse their child from becoming a stand-up comedian.
“There are a lot of blueprints around that you can point at and say that look at the likes of KSM, Fritz Baffour, DKB and what they’ve been able to achieve,” he added monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
