VGMA: I’ll still be grateful to God if I don’t win an award
Ghanaian Gospel musician Piesie Esther known in real life as Mrs. Esther Asiedu who has seven nominations at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) has disclosed that she would still show gratitude to God even if she does not win any award at this year’s event.
She says over the years, she has worked so hard, however, her hard work has now been recognized by the good people of Ghana considering the nominations she has received at this year’s awards.
However, even though she is optimistic about sweeping awards at the VGMAs, she will not be worried if she does not win any awards.
“I am very optimistic I will sweep awards at this year’s VGMA, however, if I don’t win, I believe my good works have been appreciated and God has shown his light on me. I will be grateful to God for this opportunity after several years of working hard.
It will be painful and I pray It doesn’t happen that I won’t pick even one award out of the seven. But even if it happens, I will give God the praise for my nominations. I know for sure that Gospel will win,” she said on UTV
