Wedding is the most prominent event in the Ghanaian entertainment industry
In recent times, the number of prominent Ghanaians doing weddings have increased with the latest being Kumawood actress and socialite, Tracey Boakye and her yet-to-be husband.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Big Events Ghana, the organizers of the Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards has said that wedding is the most prominent event in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
“In the Ghanaian entertainment industry out of all the major events that take place in this country, I can boldly say that wedding is the most prominent of them all,” he opined monitored by MyNewsGh.com
Talking to Amansan Krakye on the Kastle Entertainment Show, Prince Mackay remarked that the number of wedding events that happen every weekend across the country is worth commending.
He stated “When you tour the whole of the country every weekend the number of weddings that take place which is also an event you have no idea as compared to the music awards and co.
“Weddings are paying musicians, make-up artistes, weddings are paying MCs, DJs, event planners so weddings are paying a whole lot of people and so why can’t we award those involved,” he ended on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.
