Why I decided to become a physician assistant despite my status
Philipa Baafi, a renowned gospel musician, has disclosed why she decided to pursue further studies to become a physician assistant.
Talking to Amansan Krakye, the philanthropist said deciding to be a health professional was inspired by her passion to help the sick.
She said “Some people might say that where God has taken me to as a musician why would I bother myself again going back to school to become a Physician Assistant?
“As for me it’s not about money and so it’s service to humanity because I have the passion since my childhood to help the sick and needy,” she revealed on Property FM in Cape Coast.
“Seriously if it wasn’t my passion like I won’t bother myself in the first place going through all these academic difficulties to become a health professional.
Philipa Baafi continued “It’s service to humanity and in this kind of work you need to be very tolerant and I felt the desire to do this and no wonder that I already had a foundation.
“Even before going back to school, my foundation was engaged in ‘how well are you’ campaign and I worked with Doctors to do medical outreach program,” she ended monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
