Why songwriting has changed – Ephraim Musiq explains
Singer and producer Ephraim Musiq has explained why music composition is no more like the days of veteran musicians.
He stated, “It’s a generational movement because there were times that music wasn’t just for dancing and the veteran musicians were making music for a certain kind of generation.
“So those times, it was more of songs about advising people and if you made songs that don’t make sense, you don’t get people to listen to you,” he disclosed.
Ephraim Beatz said music is now composed to be played at various functions during an interview with Amansan Krakye on Property FM in Cape Coast.
He continued sighted by MyNewsGh.com “But now due to frustration and depression that people are going through, unlike those days people want just to clear their head and dance.
“So not all the songs that you’ll hear will be advising people, because if all the songs are about the advice which ones should be played at parties, outdooring, weddings or funerals,” he ended.
