2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 25: Aduana Stars share spoils with Ashgold after goalless draw
The top fixture between Aduana Stars and Ashanti Gold SC has ended in a goalless stalemate in Dormaa.
The 2021/22 Ghana Premier League has continued this weekend with all scheduled nine matches cleared this afternoon.
At the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Aduana Stars locked horns with free-scoring Ashanti Gold SC in arguably the biggest fixture of the matchday.
Despite the anticipated pulsating fixture living up to expectations to thrill spectators, neither side could score as the contest ended goalless at the end of the 90 minutes.
Courtesy of the result, Aduana Stars stay in the top four of the Ghana Premier League table in the third position.
For Ashanti Gold SC, the team is now 11th on the log and must fight for points in the upcoming games to stand any chance of finishing in the top half of the standings of the division.
