2022 World Cup: Ghana is lowest ranked team among group H opponents
With the opponents for the 2022 World Cup group stage in Qatar determined, it is intriguing to examine how each country ranks.
South Korea, ranked 29th in FIFA rankings following the 2022 Qatar World Cup finals group draw held on the 2nd in Doha, Qatar, is in Group H alongside Portugal ranked 8th, Uruguay ranked 13th, and Ghana ranked 60th.
It is not a simple group to establish, but when compared to Spain, Germany, and Japan, it is considered a comparatively easy group.
The must watch game in the group is Ghana against Uruguay which will be played on December 2nd. This game has been labeled “Revenge time” by Ghanaian football fans because of Uruguay striker Luis Suarez deliberate handball against Ghana during the 2010 World Cup.
Ghana will meet Portugal again in the 2022 World Cup after clashing at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
