2023 AFCON qualifiers: Otto Addo wraps up training with Black Stars players today ahead of Madagascar game
The head coach of the Ghana national team, Otto Addo is set to wrap up training with his Black Stars players today ahead of the clash against Madagascar in the qualifiers for the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The West African giants will kick off the campaign in the qualifiers for the next world cup this week.
Having performed terribly at the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon, the Black Stars are aiming to build a formidable team through the qualifiers this term to ensure it has a strong team to challenge for the title next year.
Last Saturday, invited players for the first phase of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers reported to camp and held a first training session.
Since then, the team has been training every evening at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Later today, the team will train one last time to finalise preparations for the Madagascar game scheduled to be played on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
