Attacker Patrick Joosten returns to FC Groningen
The Dutch born Ghanaian attacker has returned to FC Groningen after spending the entire season on loan at Cambuur.
Joosten was loaned to Cambuur for the rest of the season on 11 January 2022.
The attacker made 25 appearances in the Dutch Eredivisie this season. He scored two goals and assisted three.
He already has 112 appearances in the Eredivisie. Patrick Joosten went through the youth academy of NEC Nijmegen and was especially impressed at VVV-Venlo and FC Utrecht.
The latter club sold him to FC Groningen in the summer of 2020, where he is under contract until 2023. Patrick Joosten also played for several youth teams of the Dutch National Team.
Patrick Joosten helped Cambuur place ninth in the Dutch Eredivisie this season with 39 points after 34 games.
