CAF sets deadline day for submission of clubs for 2022/23 Women’s Champions League
The continental football governing body (CAF), has Sunday, May 29, 2022 as the deadline day for the submission of names of all participating clubs for the 2022/23 TotalEnergies Women’s Champions League.
Last year, Hasaacas Ladies won the WAFU B qualifiers in Ivory Coast before securing a place in the tournament proper in Egypt.
The Ghanaian women giants weaved their magic to reach the final of the Champions League where they lost to South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns.
Ghana is yet to present a candidate for next seasons Champions League but efforts are being made to meet the deadline as the finale of the 2021/22 Women’s Premier League campaign will be played on Saturday, May 28 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The winner of the final will represent Ghana in the 2022/23 CAF Women’s Champions League.
