CAF to hold draw for 2022 AWCON on April 25 in Morocco
The Confederation of African Football, CAF has announced that the draw for the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament will be held in Morocco on April 25, 2022.
This year’s women’s flagship continental tournament is scheduled to be staged in Morocco, in the Northern part of the continent.
In a communique from CAF issued on Friday, April 8, 2022, it has confirmed that the draw for the tournament would be held on April 25.
“TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2022
“In July 2022, all eyes will be on Morocco when the country hosts Africa’s flagship women’s competition: TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2022.
“The draw will be held in Morocco on 25 April 2022 at 20h30 GMT,” the CAF statement reads.
Meanwhile, CAF has also announced that the group stage of the qualifiers for the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
