Crystal Palace keen on keeping Ghana striker Jordan Ayew for next season

English Premier League outfit, Crystal Palace are keen on retaining the services of striker Jordan Ayew for the 2022/23 football season.

The Eagles club did well in the English Premier League throughout the 2021/22 football campaign.

Although Jordan Ayew had some difficult moments where he was not a preferred starting eleven candidate, he still had his good moments under new manager Patrick Vieira.

Impressed with the professionalism of the Black Stars striker on and off the pitch, officials at Crystal Palace have decided to extend the contract with Jordan Ayew.

As a result, a one-year extension clause in his contract has been triggered. The club is currently in talks with his representatives to have him agree on a new deal.

Sources say Jordan Ayew and his camp are happy with the progress of talks and it’s just a matter of time before the extension deal is signed.

In the just-ended English Premier League season, Jordan Ayew made 31 appearances for Crystal Palace where he scored three goals and provided assists for three others.
