Dundee United youngster Mathew Anim Cudjoe congratulates Kotoko after GPL win

Dundee United youngster Mathew Anim Cudjoe has congratulated his former club Asante Kotoko after winning the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title on Thursday after Ashanti Gold stalemate.

The Porcupine Warriors emerged as winners of the league with three matches left to play to the end of the season.

After a 1-1 draw with Ashanti Gold on Thursday at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium, Kotoko currently have 60 points, 10 more points than second-placed Bechem United.

The 18-year-old had a successful stint with Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko before joining Legon Cities last year.

He was recently part of the Ghana U-20 squad that won the CAF U-20 Championship tournament.

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum side’s will be crowned champions of their 25th Premier League title on Sunday June 12, 2022 when they host Elmina Sharks on match week 33.

By virtue of winning the league title, Kotoko will represent Ghana at next year’s CAF Champions League.
