Exclusive: Celtic closing in on signing Ghana-born Christopher Scott
Scottish giants, Celtic are keen on signing Ghanaian midfielder Christopher Scott in the summer transfer window, Footballghana.com can exclusively report.
The former Bayer Leverkusen player featured for Bayern Munich youth side last season in the Regionalliga league where he scored 7 goals and provided 6 assists in 24 games.
Scott is out of contract at Bayern this month and has become a subject of interest for several clubs including Celtic.
Bayern Munich were looking for around £250,000 for the German youth international in the bid to trigger a one-year extension.
But according to report, the Bavarian giants will allow Scott to leave on a free transfer with Celtic closing in on a deal.
The 19-year-old has featured for Germany at all youth levels but is still eligible to play for Ghana.
