Exclusive: Darmstadt keen to extend Ghanaian defender Patric Pfeiffer’s contract
German second-tier side SV Darmstadt are keen to extend the contract of Ghanaian defender Patric Pfeiffer, Footballghana.com can report.
The German-born Ghanaian had a descent campaign with the Bundesliga 2 outfit, featuring 31 times in all competitions.
The 22-year-old current contract will expire in the summer of 2023 but the club is keen to reward him with a new deal due to his outstanding performance.
Pfeiffer who joined the club three years ago from Hamburg for 250,000 euros has seen his value increased to1.5 million.
Pfeiffer is already attracting interests from rivals and if Darmstadt to hand him a new contract, he might leave as a free agent.
