Faith Soccer Academy shines on tour in Portugal

Prampram based Faith Soccer Academy is shining on tour in Portugal. The team made up of talented youngsters dazzled the crowds at their planned games.

They beat Portuguese youth team Freamunde SC 3-1, whipped Condor SC 5-3, drew goalless with Valadares SC, and beat AD Overanse 3-1 with attacker Emmanuel Owusu Andorful grabbing a hat-trick.

FSA, captained by Obed Asare, will face Amarante Futbal Clube on Wednesday, who have pledged to defeat the Ghanaians.

All of the games, according to FSA’s General Manager and Chief Administrator, Mr Charway Jacob Oluaka, who also serves as the team’s coach, have been difficult.

“As I told you before we embark on the trip, we’re going to sell Ghana’s brand of football to the world and that’s exactly what my players are doing.”

He praised the French Ambassador to Ghana, Madam Anne Sophie Avè and Head of Missions of the Diaspora African Forum (DAF), Ambassador Dr Erieka Bennett, for their support and motivation to the academy “that has galvanised us to this height.” he added.
