Forget about Cristiano Ronaldo and focus on the players around him – Yaw Preko
Coach Yaw Preko has stated that Manchester United and Portugal attacker Cristiano Ronaldo is not dangerous and Ghana should rather worry about the players behind him.
Ghana is in Group H with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
Despite the fact that the 37-year-old is the all-time leading scorer in football, the former Medeama SC coach thinks he will not be a threat when Ghana lines up against Portugal.
“We shouldn’t underrate Portugal. I don’t see Ronaldo as a threat but the players around him”, he stated
“Since he came to Manchester United, you can see that physically and psychologically, he is not the same but the players around him are dangerous,” he told Graphic Sports.
The Black Stars will take on Portugal on November 24th which will be Ghana’s first game.
