Francis Amuzu likely to leave Belgian club Anderlecht
Francis Amuzu scored a hat trick for Anderlecht against Antwerp over the weekend in Belgium but he is likely to leave the club this summer.
Amuzu has appeared in 149 matches for the Anderlecht first team. Despite this huge accomplishment, he failed to maintain a set starting position.
In the current playoffs, he had to take advantage of injuries sustained by challengers Lior Refaelov and Yari Verschaeren in order to reclaim his starting spot. And the attacker is fed up with the lack of game time.
According to La Derniere Heure, the attacker would have intended to seek for other places for a while. And that aim would not have altered following his outstanding performance last Sunday.
Francis Amuzu has started 10 out of 34 games in the league this season for Anderlecht. He has scored eight goals and asisted three goals.
On 22 December 2017, Amuzu made his professional debut for Anderlecht in a 1–0 Belgian First Division A win over K.A.S. Eupen, scoring the game-winning goal.
