GFA President Kurt Okraku to join distinguished personalities for book launch of Asamoah Gyan on April 30

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku will join many distinguished personalities at the Kempinski Hotel for the Book launch of Ghana’s highest goal scorer Asamoah Gyan.

Gyan will have his much-anticipated book launched at a star-studded event on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

The President of Ghana, HE Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will headline the dignitaries that will be attending the launch of the book.

Orher personalities that will grace the event include Sports Minister, Mustapha Ussif, CAF boss, Patrice Motsepe, GFA president, Kurt Okraku and former footballers like Samuel Osei Kuffour, Tony Baffoe, Didier Drogba, Emmanuel Adebayor, Austin “Jay Jay” Okocha and many others.

Prior to the start of the event at 6pm, there will be a pre-exhibition event that will feature Asamoah Gyan’s awards and achievements.

Gyan, who is currently without a club is the all-time leading goalscorer of the Black Stars, with 51 goals.

With six goals, he is the top African goalscorer in the history of the World Cup.

The 36-year-old has also represented Ghana at the 2004 Summer Olympics and in seven Africa Cup of Nations in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019, helping them finish in third-place in 2008 and runner-up in 2010 and 2015.
