Ghana 2021 AFCON squad: Ranking every Black Stars player by transfer value

A final 28-man squad is expected to be selected from the 30-man provisional Black Stars squad announcement by head coach Milovan Rajevac on Tuesday afternoon.

That means two players are bound to be axed after the three weeks camping in Doha, Qatar.

Certainly, the value of these players will not matter in the final selection process, yes. However, it is crucial to know the value of each Black Stars player in the provisional squad before the team moves to Cameroon for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Although Thomas Partey has seen his value on transfermarkt decreasing in the past year, he remains the highest-valued Ghana player in the announced squad.

His value of €40 million is twice that of the second-highest valued Black Stars player in the squad; Kamal Deen Suleymana (Rennes FC) – €20 million
