Ghana and Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo resumes full training ahead of Peterborough United clash

Ghana and Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo has returned to full training ahead of his side’s Championship game against Peterborough United on Saturday.

Semenyo, who missed Black Stars final World Cup final play-offs against Nigeria suffered a knee injury during the 2-2 draw with West Brom prior to the international break.

Reports went rife that the 22-year-old’s injury was serious and could be out for the rest of the season, given the first half of 2021/22 season was disrupted by complications resulting from knee surgery he underwent at the end of the last season.

However, the highly-rated striker appears to be nearing a first-team return.
