Ghana and Swindon Town goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott makes English League Two Team of the Season
Ghana goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot has been included in English Football League Two Team of the Season following his impressive performances for Swindon Town
Wollacott has enjoyed an outstanding campaign so far, conceding a respectable 46 goals in 39 games.
The 25-year-old has regularly offered his attacking teammates the opportunity to go and win games with excellent saves and an assured presence between the sticks.
His 11 clean sheets have also come during a campaign in which he has been called up for his country, Ghana, and helped the Black Stars qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
He joined Swindon Town from Bristol City last summer and has been a key cog of the team.
The highly-rated shot-stopper has also been nominated for the Swindon Town Player of the Year award.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s first-choice goalkeeper is expected to leave the English League Two side as a free agent, Footballghana.com can authoritatively confirm.
Wollacott will not renew his contract with the club.
