Ghana defender Alexander features as Strasbourg hold Paris Saint Germain to a drawn game

Ghana international Alexander Djiku lasted the entire duration in Strasbourg draw against French giants Paris Saint Germain.

The 27-year-old put up a splendid performance when Strasbourg secured an important point on home turf against Mauricio Pochettino’s outfit.

The visitors, PSG held Strasbourg to a 3-3 draw on Friday with the towering guardsman playing the entire minute with an explosive performance.

Strasbourg opened the scoring after just two minutes into the game through Kelvin Gameiro but PSG restored parity in the 23rd minute through Kylian Mbappe.

Achraf Hakimi scored in the 64 minutes to double PSG lead before Mbappe added the third goal to make it 3-1 in the 68th minute.

But Strasbourg who looked purposeful pulled one back from Marco Verratti’s own goal.

The home side then leveled pegging at the dying embers of the game through Anthony Caci.

Djiku has been impressive in the ongoing campaign, featuring 29 times and scoring one goal in the process.

He has attracted interest from several clubs in Europe due to his outstanding performance.
