Ghana defender Daniel Amartey cameos as Leicester City draw against Everton
Ghana defender Daniel Amartey was in action for Leicester City in their 1-1 draw Everton in the English Premier League on Wednesday night.
Amartey climbed off the bench in the 84th minute of the game to replace Namplays Mendy at Goodison Park.
The draw denied his manager’s a first win at stadium, and it wasted a good start for the visitors, who also squandered several good chances towards the end via Maddison.
The Foxes took an early lead in the 5th minute of the game through Harvey Barnes whose strike looked to have condemned the Toffees to a demoralising third consecutive and eighth home Premier League defeat of the season.
But Richarlison who squandered two gilt-edged chances to haul Everton back into contention made amends in the second minute of added time when he found the far corner to spark jubilant scenes at a restless Goodison.
Amartey has made 22 Premier League appearance for Leicester City so far this season.
