Ghana forward Daniel-Kofi Kyereh on target for St. Pauli in home draw against Nurnburg
Ghana international, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh returned to the FC St. Pauli starting eleven to score for the team on Friday evening when the side drew 1-1 against Nurnburg.
The 26-year-old after missing the SV Sandhausen match a fortnight has now made it two games in the last two matches.
In what was a home match today, the player played his heart out in a bid to help his team to amass maximum points.
Unfortunately, although the attacking midfielder would score a penalty for St. Pauli in the 74th minute, his team could not hold on to cross the finish line.
A strike from Taylor Duman in extra time helped Nurnburg to force the clash to end in a 1-1 stalemate in order to merit a point.
With his goal this evening, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has now scored 12 goals in the German Bundesliga 2 this season.
He also has nine assists to his name in the division after making 28 appearances.
