Ghana forward Daniel-Kofi Kyereh to miss St. Pauli’s final match of the season against Fortuna Dusseldorf
Ghana international, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh will be absent next weekend when his FC St. Pauli outfit takes on Fortuna Dusseldorf in the final match of the German Bundesliga 2 season.
The Black Stars asset has been a livewire for his team since the start of the 2021/22 football season in Germany.
Unfortunately for his side, a dip in form in the past month has meant the dream of gaining promotion to play in the German Bundesliga next season has been shattered.
To make things worse, the team will be without star man Daniel-Kofi Kyereh in the final match of the season.
The talented forward received a sixth yellow card over the past weekend during the team’s defeat to Schalke 04.
As a result, he is suspended according to the rules governing the league and can only watch the match from the stands.
Other FC St. Pauli players set to miss the Fortuna Dusseldorf game include Marcel Beifus, Igor Matanovic, as well as Afeez Aremu.
