Ghana forward Emmanuel Gyasi leading Spezia’s charge to escape relegation in Italy

Ghana international, Emmanuel Gyasi has become the star for Spezia Calcio in the last few weeks as the club pushes to gather enough points to escape relegation from the Italian Serie A.

During the 2020/2021 season, the talented winger and his club excelled in their maiden campaign in the Italian top-flight league.

Unfortunately, things have not been the same in the current season as a result of inconsistent spells.

Ahead of the climax of the 2021/22 Italian Serie A season, Spezia Calcio have found themselves very close to the relegation zone.

Fortunately in these hard times, utility player Emmanuel Gyasi has provided the needed inspiration and has constantly popped up when the team needed saving.

Just last weekend, Emmanuel Gyasi netted the winner for Spezia Calcio in added time when the team defeated Venezia.

This weekend, more will be required from the Black Stars forward when his team takes on Empoli.

This season, Emmanuel Gyasi has made 30 appearances for his club and has scored five goals in the process.
