Ghana goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott confident Black Stars will be successful with hard work
Ghana goalkeeper, Joseph Wollacott has stressed that he is confident the current Black Stars squad can win the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The Swindon Town shot-stopper was part of the Ghana squad that was knocked out at the group stage of the recently staged 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.
Opening u on the disappointment from that tournament, goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott says he believes the current Black Stars team can work hard to turn things around.
“We have the potential as a country so I don’t see why we can’t. Obviously, we are disappointed with the most recent AFCON exit following the outcome of our performance at the tournament but I am sure we can work hard and be the most successful and we can win it,” Joseph Wollacott said in an interview with Oyerepa Sports.
Just recently, the Ghana goalkeeper has been named goalkeeper of the season for the English Football League 2.
