Ghana is capable of reaching semis at 2022 FIFA World Cup – Coach Robert Sacke
US-based Ghanaian coach, Robert Sackey has backed the Black Stars to reach the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
According to him, Ghana has been drawn in a very good group and the national team could make history should the right measures be put in place for the preparations for the tournament.
“Ghana’s group is a good group and if we prepare well, we can make it to the next round and move on to make history this time around.
“I think the draw is one of the best groups for Ghana. I believe we can qualify from the group to the next stage,” Coach Robert Sackey told Graphic Sports.
The Ghanaian tactician continued, “I believe Ghana can achieve President Akufo-Addo’s target of seeing the Black Stars reach the semi-finals and even making history by making it to the grand final in Qatar.”
Ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Ghana has been pitted in Group H where the Black Stars will take on their counterparts from Portugal, Uruguay, as well as South Korea.
