Ghanaian defender Michael Akoto linked with a move to Nuremberg
Ghanaian international, Michael Akoto is set to seal a move to German Bundesliga 2 club Nuremberg, footballghana can report.
The defender in the 2021/22 football season played for German Bundesliga 2 outfit Dynamo Dresden.
Following the team’s relegation to the lower division after the relegation, the team has this week offloaded over 10 first-team players.
Amongst that list of players is Ghanaian defender Michael Akoto. Fortunately for the player, his top performances for Dynamo Dresden, last season did not go unnoticed.
One of the clubs impressed with his displays, Nuremberg has made a move to sign him to bolster its squad for the next football season.
Last season, Akoto made 30 appearances in the German Bundesliga where he scored one goal and assisted one other for Dynamo Dresden.
Meanwhile, another Ghanaian international, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer has left Dynamo Dresden and is close to joining Cologne.
