Ghanaian Jordan Ayimbila nets first goal as San Antonio beat Monterey Bay in America
Ghanaian defender Jordan Ayimbila scored his first goal for San Antonio FC in their United Soccer League win over Monterey Bay.
The defender scored his side last goal as they mauled Monterey Bay 6-0 at the Toyota Field in Texas.
Ayimbila, who was making his fourth appearance of the season climbed off the bench and added his name to the scoresheet in the dying embers of the game.
The 21-year-old joined San Antonio FC on loan in March from Accra Lions, with his contract set to expire in November of this year.
However, depending on his performance throughout the season, it could be extended. So far, he’s been a great addition, and San Antonio will be hoping he keeps it up.
