Ghanaian midfielder Nikolas Nartey trains with Stuttgart teammates after knee surgery
Danish-Ghanaian international, Nikolas Nartey has returned to training with VfB Stuttgart after making progress in the treatment room following his recent knee surgery.
The midfielder was sent out on loan at SV Sandhausen in the last summer transfer window in order to receive regular playing time in the German Bundesliga 2.
Due to an injury, Nikolas Nartey has been forced to return to his parent club, VfB Stuttgart earlier than scheduled.
Fortunately, he has recently undergone surgery on his knee injury and has also completed his rehabilitation.
He is now able to run and has hence joined his teammates for training.
He was seen working on the grass on Monday when VfB Stuttgart trained ahead of the clash against Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga next weekend.
Nikolas Nartey will now be monitored by VfB Stuttgart coach Pellegrino Matarazzo in the coming days to determine whether he will be fit enough for a place in the matchday squad for the next game.
