Ghanaian youngster Brian Brobbey on target for Ajax in draw against Vitesse
Dutch forward of Ghanaian descent, Brian Brobbey was on target for Ajax on Sunday afternoon when the team drew 2-2 against Vitesse in the Eredivisie.
The youngster today started for his team in the away match to climax the end of the 2021/22 Dutch Eredivisie campaign.
Following a bright start to an exciting contest, Brian Brobbey opened the scoring for his team after just 15 minutes into the first half.
Unfortunately, Ajax could not build on that goal to condemn the home team to a defeat.
Goals from Lois Openda in the first 10 minutes of the second half turned the game around for Vitesse as the side led 2-1.
To the delight of the travelling Ajax fans, the team equalised through Edson Alvarez in the final minutes of the game to force the match to end in a draw.
Already, Brian Brobbey and Mohammed Kudus have helped Ajax to clinch the Dutch Eredivisie title.
