Ghanaians shocked Philemon Baffour is still part of Black Stars squad
Ghanaians on social media have expressed displeasure at the inclusion of defender Philemon Baffour in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming world cup qualifying matches.
The Dreams FC youngster time and time again is called to camp but has never featured for the Black Stars.
As a result, many have complained in anger while insisting that he is favoured because he plays for a team that belongs to the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
After another call-up today, Ghanaians on social media have been distraught once more.
Under a post on GTV Sports Plus comparing Philemon Baffour and Fatawu Mohammed, many have said the Dreams FC defender does not merit the Black Stars call-up.
Check out some comments below:
“Ghana we dey…what is the essence of calling that Baffour guy when he’s not good enough…is he the best right back in Ghana…??? Asem o.
“IGP has to investigate this. Always with a call up but hasn’t played before. What shit is that.
“Eiii e no be this Philemon Baffour guy just last Saturday that Kotoko young guy Issac Oppong they dribble am left and right no.
“What is soo special about that Philemon guy.
“Isn’t it a legitimate question.. if it was nettey , kotoko’s right back, would you have said this. Player that wasn’t trusted to go and defended when the team lost a center back and they allowed amartey to play at right back rather than use him.
