Ghana's Christopher Antwi-Adjei out of action due to injury

Christopher Antwi-Adjei will be unable to participate in VfL Bochum’s upcoming matchday due to muscle problems.

This was revealed at a news briefing on Friday. The winger has been preoccupied with the issues for nearly a week.

In May 2021, VfL Bochum, newly promoted to the Bundesliga, announced the signing of Antwi-Adjei for the 2021–22 season. He signed a contract until 2024 and joined on a free transfer from SC Paderborn.

Antwi-Adjei made his debut for Ghana national team on 18 November 2019 in an AFCON qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe.

Born in Germany, Antwi-Adjei has played for Fortuna Hagen, Hasper SV, MSV Duisburg, TSC Eintracht Dortmund, SC Westfalia Herne, SC Westfalia Herne, and TSG Sprockhovel 89.
