Ghana's Patrick Mensah clinches Macedonian League with Shkupi

Ghanaian youngster Patrick Mensah has clinched the 2021/2022 Macedonian Premier League with FK Shkupi.

Shkupi defeated Renova 2-0 on Saturday to open up a 13 point gap between them and second-placed Akademija Pandev with just four games left to play.

Mensah joined the club from Ghanaian side Hearts of Lions in January 2022 on a three-year deal and was registered for the second round of the league.

The 20-year-old featured in five games for the Division One side in this campaign before he left the shores of Ghana.

He was a key member of Ghana’s U-20 (Black Satellites) who conquered African in 2021 winning the WAFU Zone B U-20 and African U-20 Cup of Nations held in Benin and Mauritania respectively.

Mensah is expected to play key role for Shkupi next season with a full pre-season under his belt.
