Goalkeeper Corey Kwadwo Addai Cheremeh set to play for Jamaica
Corey Kwadwo Addai Cheremeh, a Ghanaian goalkeeper, is said to have completed his FIFA approved nationality switch to play for Jamaica.
The goalkeeper, who was born in England to a Ghanaian father and a Jamaican mother, was eligible to play for the Three Lions, Black Stars, or Reggae Boys of Jamaica.
Corey Addai has apparently decided to play for his mother’s native country after completing his nationality switch to play for Jamaica,
The 24-year-old goalkeeper has previously played for Arsenal, Coventry, Barnsley, and a number of other English clubs.
Corey signed a one-year contract with Danish club Esbjerg last summer.
Jamaica is 64th on the FIFA Coca Cola rankings and they will play an international friendly game against Ghana’s 2022 World Cup Group H opponent Uruguay on 11th June.
