WAFA midfielder Sampson Adjapong grabbed the Man of the Match gong in his side’s 1-1 draw against Hearts of Oak.
Both sides went into the game in search of their first win of the season and the Champions drew first blood through Kofi Kordzi.
Sampson Adjapong, however, came up with the trumps as he scored in the 59th minute to give WAFA the equalizer and earn the academy boys their first point under new Coach Guillaume Zaragoza.
Agyapong was consistently a thorn in the flesh of the Phobians as his trickery and swiftness on the ball consistently caused problems for the Hearts defense.
WAFA maintained their unbeaten record against the defending champions Hearts of Oak at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena as they’re still unbeaten at their home ground since 2015.
