Hearts of Oak mutually part ways with defender Nuru Sulley

Ghanaian champions Hearts of Oak have mutually parted ways with defender Nuru Sulley, the club has confirmed.

The defender has struggled to command a position in Samuel Boadu’s team since the coach arrived at the club earlier this year.

The defender rejoined the Phobians before the start of the 2020-2021 campaign from Iraqi’s Naft Al-Basra SC. He made 16 appearances and contributed to the club’s domestic double win.

Since then, Sulley has fallen out with Coach Boadu and the club while he has barely made an appearance for the Accra-based club in the ongoing campaign.

Sulley has previously played for Al-Nasr Benghazi (Libya), Al-Ittihad (Libya), Alanyaspor (Turkey) and Al-Mina’a (Iraq).
