Hearts of Oak youngster Salim Adams joins FC Cincinnati 2 on loan
Accra Hearts of Oak will be joining the United States of America based club FC Cincinnati on loan the club announced on Tuesday evening.
Adams joins FCC 2 as part of the collaboration between FC Cincinnati, TSG Hoffenheim of the Bundesliga, and Accra Hearts of Oak, Ghana’s champions. Adams is the first player to join the Common Value Club Alliance from Hearts of Oak.
According to FC Cincinnati the loan deal has an option to buy but they are now waiting for league and federation approval, in addition to ITC and work authorization.
Salim Adams scored three goals for the Phobians in 23 appearances in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
“I’m excited to welcome Salim to FC Cincinnati,” said Tyrone Marshall, Head Coach of FC Cincinnati 2. “He’s a promising midfielder who will be an excellent addition to our group and to the environment we’re trying to create.”
Salim Adams is a tough tackling midfielder who played a key role in Hearts of Oak’s 2022 President’s Cup victory against Asante Kotoko.
