Hertha Berlin boss Felix Magath confirms Kevin-Prince Boateng will start against Stuttgart
Hertha Berlin manager Felix Magath has confirmed Kevin Prince Boateng will start when they face Stuttgart on sunday in the German Bundesliga after his exploits against Augsburg.
The 34-year-old who played an influential role in their 1-0 win over Augsburg last weekend is expected to lead the line again for the club.
Hertha Berlin will hope to pick all points at stake to better their chances of surviving in the league at the end of the season.
They sit 15th position and must ensure they don’t drop points in the remaining four games in the league.
Ahead of the clash on Sunday, Felix Magath has disclosed the Ghana star will once again lead the team.
“We put Augsburg off their game with our fighting spirit,” trainer Felix Magath remarked at his Friday presser, “Stuttgart can expect nothing less. We will fight until the end.”
“He [Boateng] was a major factor in leading the team and bringing in structure,” Magath noted, “No need for us to hide it. Of course he will also direct the team like that on the field Sunday.”
“The points against Augsburg only really count if we win again,” Magath added in closing, “I don’t care what Augsburg and Bielefeld are doing this weekend. We win.”
