Hertha Berlin coach Felix Magath counting on Kevin Prince Boateng ahead of VfB Stuttgart tie
Felix Magath, head coach of Hertha Berlin has lauded Kevin Prince Boateng ahead of their game against VfB Stuttgart.
Hertha will host Stuttgart at the Olympiastadion Berlin in the Bundesliga matchday 31 games.
Boateng put up a decent performance in their away win against Augsburg.
Ahead of the game on Sunday, Magath is counting on the former Barcelona man to live up to expectations at their home grounds.
“He was a key factor in the game in Augsburg, who led the team and brought in structure,” the coach praised the 35-year-old.
“We don’t need to play hide-and-seek: Of course, he’ll direct the field on Sunday as well,” he added.
Hertha after their win last week now sit in 15th position with 29 points.
Meanwhile, Boateng has made a total of 16 appearances for the club without scoring a goal.
