Hooligan fans of Nsuatreman attack team bus of Tamale City; fans injured, head coach reportedly in critical condition
The National Division One League witnessed yet another incident of hoologanism over the weekend in Nsuatre.
The town hosted the clash between Nsuatreman and Tamale City as both teams chased the three points in a bid to finish the ongoing 2021/22 football season strongly.
After a fiercely contest encounter, the game ended 1-1 at the end of the 90 minutes as both teams settled for a point apiece.
While the Tamale City team was traveling back to Tamale, the team bus became under siege by some fans of the home team based in Nsuatre.
The majority of the Tamale City players sustained various degrees of injuries from the attack while the driver of the bus tried to evade stones and other materials being thrown at the team.
Unfortunately, the head coach of Tamil City sustained worrying injuries as he bled profusely. Reports gathered indicates that he has been hospitalized and in critical condition.
